Metal sensitivity and allergy
Sterling silver contains copper, and some plated items use other metals beneath the surface layer. Contact sensitivity varies between individuals and we cannot predict yours. Nothing here is medical advice. If you have a known metal allergy, ask us for the specific composition of a piece before buying, and consult a clinician about your own sensitivity.
Care advice
Cleaning methods described in our care guide are general guidance for sterling silver. Applying them to plated, oxidised, pearl-set or antique pieces can cause irreversible damage. When in doubt, do less, and ask us first.
Materials claims
Recycled content figures rest on supplier statements, which we attribute rather than assert. Chain of custody in aggregated recycling cannot be traced to a specific original object, by anyone — see materials.
Environmental claims
We describe a difference at the extraction stage. We do not claim that any purchase is environmentally beneficial in net terms, and we do not publish carbon figures we have not had independently calculated.

Jewellery is not offered as an investment and nothing here is financial advice. Silver bullion prices have no direct relationship to the resale value of a finished piece.
