The guides on this site do not carry affiliate links. Where we recommend a tool or product we do not make — a polishing cloth, a storage solution, an anti-tarnish strip — we link to it plainly, without a tracking parameter.
If that changes
Should we introduce affiliate links, they will be:
- Identified on the page where they appear, not only in this policy.
- Restricted to products we actually use in the studio.
- Excluded from care advice, where a recommendation should never carry a commission.
Our own products
Links to our own pieces are not affiliate links; they are links to our shop, and our commercial interest in them is total and obvious. See our advertising disclosure.
Why we mention it at all
Because "no affiliate links" is itself information a reader is entitled to, and because publishing the policy makes it harder to quietly change later.
